A few pics from another Preserve Hunt

Postby wems-22 » Mon Mar 22, 2010 9:28 am

We offered to help a friend plant birds for her breed's Small Munsterlander 2 Day Fun Hunt, to be held at her preserve. A couple days before the hunt, she called and graciously insisted we bring our dogs and participate. So here are a few pics from Sunday's hunt with Roxi. It was a fun time, although there was some friendly ribbing from both sides, as other than one LM...we were the only non-SMs in the group. Something like 98 birds were planted over the weekend, and 46 were harvested. The pheasant were tenacious, and we may as well have opened the bird crate back at the farm, and let them fly wherever they wanted...for as well as they were "planted". :D The last few pics are of Brandi, who got to do some running after all the hunting was done.

Always the Happy Hunter...doesn't seem as if much has changed, by that expression.
